Field of Flowers Pixel Art Timelapse
Drawing a pixel art piece of Howl and Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle.
Being that it's Valentine's Day today, I thought it'd be fun to pixel this scene from Howl's Moving Castle. I love all the flowers from these scenes and Howl and Sophie are an adorable couple! Decided to add a little bit of animation - I used to do these simple wind blown/blinking and sparkle animations on my pixel dolls many years ago, so it's nice to have something reminiscent of that.
There's a few notes throughout the video to explain some of my process/thinking, but most of it is just a lot of rendering (as usual) and darting around the piece.

This one was really enjoyable to draw, because it contains many of my favourite things - Ghibli vibes, lots of grass and fluffy clouds ^_^
Pixel Art Details

...after rendering and adding all the things, I notice a typo in one of the speech bubbles ¯_(ツ)_/¯
