Wishing for Rain
I started this a couple of days ago and decided to finish it off tonight.
I wanted to use one of my newer bases with a style similar to how I do my CG work. So this was effectively ‘painted’ with the pencil tool. Hopefully I can get the poor nameless base named and released soon ^^
Chibi Alice
Finished a new doll on the OC base – chibi Alice in a tea cup, as well as the walkthrough for it, which is kind of long XD
See above for a compilation of the steps ^^
New Base WIP
Been busy over the last few weeks helping Amy to finish her website off, rewriting the maker script to have more functionality and such ^^ It’s been up for a week or so now, so you can have a look here.
Rainbow Hair
I was working on a quick doll, based on a GaiaOnline avatar and made copies of it as I was drawing. The rainbow hair was made using the technique shown in my pattern tutorial, so the colours were easy to add.
In the first step, you might notice that I have a few shades of blue in it – I did it so I could separate the clumps of hair easily when shading (darker = further back).
Base is by my sister Binoftrash
In the Clouds
A personal piece – it’s not particularly refined, because I didn’t want to spend a lot of time on it. It’s just something I had to draw for myself ^^ Took about 3 hours in Photoshop.
You can also see the working progress for this piece below~
I’ve left them with minimal shading so that they can be adapted to other styles of pixelling easier. They’ve changed a little from the original post I made a while ago, but there were only minor adjustments. The thing that took me the most time, was getting around to shading them! XP
Obviously Chibi Base
Finally finished the OC base! It has 31 poses in total, with a few couple poses. Hopefully they should make some interesting group scenes too!

Peace and Quiet
Ah, peace and quiet again. Things are pretty much back to normal here again. Nana’s doing well, Grace is growing too fast and work is busy XD
Sooo, in my spare time I’ve been rewriting the systems behind my site to accommodate some “new” things me and Amy (BinofTrash) want to put on our sites (eventually). So that’s fun ^^ And designing some quilts with my Mum.
I also decided to “test” my old retired tablet (wacom intuos 2) for “fun”. Poor thing doesn’t really work anymore – I had to sketch this using the pen upside down XD
Art Dump #1
I decided to “draw more” late last year – so I had a look around the Freebies forum on Gaia for some inspiration and to get back into some CG practice XD
The lure
Spent about an hour and a half on this (maybe 2 tops?). Definitely not anatomically correct, but it was fun to try out a bit of a different style~
OC Base WIP
I essentially had this base set finished in January (I used it here, here, here and here, with Jan 6th being the earliest date) XD But, it wasn’t shaded, because I found it easier to shade it when I made a doll on it.
However I figured I should probably shade it so it’ll be easier for others to use. And if you’re like me and want to take it back to the outline, hopefully it shouldn’t be too hard, I’ve tried to keep the shading basic X3
These are the first 11 poses, of 30 drawn. I’m going to call this the “OC” base, which stands for Obviously Chibi <_< This is a WIP, so it might change before final release. And as always, please be sure to check my base rules before using a base ^^
